What’s your deal?
I am captivated by big, beautiful ideas. Particularly Love. I am interested in how a God of essential kenosis (the God who is love, who can’t help but love) is/acts in relationship with people and the plethora of wonderful that inhabit the planet and beyond. I wonder out loud how this Love reshapes our inherited faith stories as genuinely good news for a post-Christian quantum world.

I have been described as a thoughtful mystic, an accidental activist, and someone who is intuitively empathetic.
I’m a husband to Andrea for 35+ years, Dad to three sons (31, 27 and 17), and Kite Flyer. I have a Master’s in Spiritual Formation, and I am finishing a second - MA in Theology and Culture where I explore the cosmic vision (love) of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and Thomas Jay Oord’s Essential Kenosis (Love)toward new faith stories intimately rooted in a thoughtful and robust theology of Love.
Vocationally, as a Spiritual director/companion, I walk alongside folks who are seeking ways to remain Christian while untangling from ill-fitting ideas about God, church and the world. Those who are cultivating a deeper experience of life.
I am a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist through the Grief Recovery Institute and I walk alongside and provide support for folks as they journey through a variety of different kinds of loss.
Kite Monger - I have an e-commerce retail kite shop where we sell a variety of winder-ful kites from simple single-line kites to multi-line sport kites and larger show kites. I really enjoy flying kites.
